Computing Science Scotland

Computing Science Scotland is a grassroots initiative run by Computing Science teachers to support, encourage and champion teachers delivering Computing Science in Scotland.

CSS runs a number of initiatives where organisations can get involved to support. We have CSS Reads this is our magazine for teachers delivering Computing Science. We are always looking for industry, further education or individuals to write articles around Computing Science in Scotland. If you have something of interest to share with teachers or for their pupils we would love to promote as well and help get the word out. Here is an example of our latest article, bit.ly/cssreads3

We also run CSSMeets with is an online teach meet with a particular focus on sharing good practice and practical tips of what has worked well in the classroom. These are really great fun sessions, we have had over 100 teachers attending from 80 different schools across 23 different councils! We have ran a css special meet before that has had industry guests and we always run a quiz at the start and give away small prizes to the winner. If this is something of interest we would love to hear from you.
